Tragic: Young Man Rapes & Brutally Kills His Grandmother.. Because His Friend Couldnt Spend The Night!

Disgusting.

Kevin Havelow Jr. (23) has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted rape, aggravated indecent assault and other related charges after attempting to rape both his mother and grandmother and then stabbing his grandmother to death.

According to police:

Havelow went out with a male friend Monday night and smoked marijuana. He returned home and asked his mother if his friend could stay the night and his mother said no. She told him she would no longer put up with his misbehavior.
Havelow was angry, believing his mother and grandmother were preventing him from having a "normal social life", including having a girlfriend and smoking marijuana in the house.
Havelow and his mother then fought in an upstairs hallway of their home and he sexually assaulted her, the complaint states.
The mother escaped to a powder room on the first floor where Havelow pursued her, but then confronted Watters in the kitchen. Havelow pulled her to her bedroom next to the kitchen and sexually assaulted her, police said. His mother tried to defend Watters by striking Havelow in the head, shoulders and back with a plastic broom.
Havelow then followed his mother into the kitchen and continued to assault her, police said. Havelow’s sister, who had called 911, tried to defend her mother by striking Havelow with the broom.
The mother escaped to a utility room and the sister escaped to an upstairs bedroom, the complaint states. Havelow retrieved a knife from the kitchen and returned to Watters’ bedroom, where he stabbed her in the chest.
Havelow retrieved two more knives from the kitchen, returned to Watters’ bedroom and with a knife in each hand, stabbed her more than 20 times in the chest, neck and head, the complaint states. Troopers arrived and took Havelow into custody without incident.
Havelow admitted to killing his grandmother and trying to rape his mother and grandmother, according to the complaint.

Havelow graduated from Oxford Area High School, police also noted. He enlisted in the Army National Guard but did not complete his commitment. He worked at a Wal-Mart store and at Herr Foods, but was unemployed at the time of the incident.
Havelow was voluntarily committed to Brandywine Hospital in December for threatening to harm himself, police said. He was discharged after about a week.
State police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to call them at 610-268-2022.
